What’s been happening:

I have a BS Degree from Penn State (Class of 1963) and a MBA Degree from Penn state (Class of 1968). I currently own and operate a sizable accounting/income tax firm (Accounting & Tax Specialists, Inc.) in Stroudsburg, PA...and have successfully operated the company with a full staff for the past 25 years. Having previously been Alumni President for the Penn State Chapter of Zeta Psi Fraternity for over 25 years, I had frequent contact and ongoing exposure to Penn State and its activities and functions over the years! I interestingly had the experience of arranging a meeting with Joe Paterno & one of my client families back in the latter 1990s. This event exposed just how much of a true human being this man is! This family had learned that their 10 year-old son who had acquired pediatric AIDS from open heart surgery when he was 21 months old. Upon Joe learning about this boy's circumstances, he personally made arrangements to meet this boy and his family at his office on campus, spending over 1-hour with them, then arranging for the boy and his sister to meet & spend time with the entire football team in the locker room the day before the Purdue Homecoming Game...finally, Joe arranged four 50-yard line tickets for the family, 3 rows behind the football bench! What a true human being this man is! Unfortunately the boy passed away 2 years later!
